David Villa Probably Won't Finish the Season after a Heavy Injury



Barcelona forward David Villa probably won’t finish the season because of a severe injury, announced the Spanish team. Villa received the injury during the match with Al Sadd at the 1/2-final stage of the Club World Cup as the worst predictions were confirmed: a fractured tibia in his left leg.

Villa was hospitalized in Yokohama, where he will be a thorough a close examination. Even his participation in the European Championships next summer is questioned by the Spanish media. These types of fractures require a recovery of minimum six months.

30-year-old striker had problems with the tibia for more than a month. Since his coming to Barcelona he has never been prohibited by a medic to participate in matches.
