BVB

The team of Borussia Dortmund is on track to beat the record for most points earned during the fall league title in the Bundesliga championship, if he wins the weekend durng his visit to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Currently, the “yellow-blacks”, who are the undisputed leaders in the standings, have won 43 points from 16 games. The record is held by Bayern Munich in the 2005-2006 season as he had won 44 points after the first half of the championship.

Currently, graduates of Jurgen Klop lead with 11 points ahead of second Bayern Leverkusen and with eventual victory against Eintracht they may even increase the distance.

Dortmund yesterday was dropped out of Europe League tournament, having made 2:2 as a guest of Seville. Only victory in the German team could have qualified for the dropout phase of the tournament.

Last night in Europa league groups- Lost hopes and training matches along with some derbies

Here it is-the last day in the Europa league groupstage. Some dissappointments were seen along with brilliant matches and outstanding results. But anyway the points are all thath matter disregarding the good games. Now some teams are sure about their qualification in the next round and are aimig for the gold medals and the cups: Manchester City, Lech Poznan, Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting Lisbon, Villarieal, PAOK, Dinamo Kyiv, Bate Borisov, CSKA Moskva, Sparta Prague, Zenit, Stuttgart, Young Boys, PSV Eindhoven, Metalist Kharkiv, Paris Sait-Germain, Sevilla, Liverpool, Napoli, Porto and Besiktas. On the other hand there are still battles(some direct, some indiect) for a place in the last round. Team such as Anderlecht and AEK Athens, Lille and Gent, Atletico and Aris are in a desparate need of points to insure their place in the next round. Even though these teams will give the maximum of their skills some of them will evenually be eliminated. At last teams such as Zaszburg, Juventus, Rosenborg, Levski,Dinamo Zagreb, Club Brugge, Sheriff, Loussane Sport, Hajduk Split, Getafe, Odense, Debreceni, Sampdoria, Karpaty Lviv, Borussia Dormund, Steaua, Utrecht, Rapid Wien and CSKA Sofia have lost their chancesfor the last 32 teams to continue. Nevertheless there are some other factors such as the internal cups that are the most important for some of these tams and their elimination is not such a big deal.

Evra - Arsenal is "a football training centre"

The Manchester United's left wingback and part of the French national team Patrice Evra said after his match with Arsenal that his words that Arsenal is 'A Football Training Centre' proved right. He made this statement during the last round of the Barclays Premier League. "For me Arsenal is a football training centre. You watch the match, you enjoy it, but are you going to win a title afterwards? That’s what people remember." His words were actually right, because Arsenal does some very good games and their beautiful style of playing is remarkable, but after all their last title was many years ago.

The bloodiest sport ever

Gladiators. The games where both the "players" and the public trembeled. Blood fell on the ground, murder was commited and the crould was cheering under the raw of the organisers. The organisers, the elite, those who could afford to start their own gladiator school, to buy slaves to train to become gladiators, where those who desided the lifes of the athletes. Soon after their creation (debated, around the Punic Wars - 3rd century BC) the murder was know as honor, the battles between gladiators was known as battle between the elite. Dispite our common sence, sources reveal that death on the arena was not a death of a slave commanded by his owner, but a glorious honored event. Some dreamt to become gladiators, others played until they could buy their freedom, and some, the soltiers of was, had no choice. But for the crould this did not matter. The enoumos coliseum in Rome (50, 000 - more than the Liverpool stadium, Amfield) was constantly full of people trembling to understand the fate of their favorite. At first the tournamets between gladiators was the most common event, but later in the (aroung 1 century BC- 1 century AD) the lions as well as other exotic animas were present as enemy. Logically such sport caused revolts, the most famous one of Spartacus, who in 73 BC caused Rome to tremble before his feet. But what about the sport? It did countinue for another 5 centuries of more carefullness. And yes JohnBog, this is was a bit more dangerous sport than cheerleeding. Was it more interesting? Hard to tell...

Neymar and Ganso from Santos will join Barca?

The president of FC Barcelona Sandro Rosell started negotiations with the brazilian club Santos to buy two young players, considered as future superstars. These players are Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, or simply Neymar and Paulo Henrique Chagas de Lima, also known as Ganso.
Neymar is 18 years old and the English club Chelsea already tried to buy him, offering enormous amount of money, but the Brazilian teenager rejecetd the offer.
Ganso is 21 years old and also rejected a transfer from a famous football club from Europe - Milan. The Italians didn't offer enough money and that actually broke the negotiations.
It is very possible that Barca will manage to buy these two promising young players, because Rosell has a good reputation in Brazil and has a strong relations with the biggest Brazilian clubs. And another thing is that actually Barca's manager Pep Guardiola insisted on these transfers, so it seems that soon at least one of the two yougn stars will join the Spanish club.

The hosts, however, remained calm and kept handy for their result. Even 86 minutes Rooney was close to make up for missed penalty as a beautiful shot try to transfer Shchesni but the goalkeeper saved. Cheerleading

Cheerleading is a physical activity, sometimes a competitive sport, using organized routines, usually ranging from one to three minutes, which contain the components of tumblingg, dancee, jumpss, cheerss, and stuntingg to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams at games or to participate in competitions. I't is one of the most dangerous sports in the world because the stunts which are being done are very dangerous and can lead to serious injuries or even death. That's why all the cheerleaders need a lot of preparations before they start making stunts. However cheerleading is more a female sport but despte this there are also boys cheerleaders which have a major role in performing the stunts. Most of the cheerleaders are slim but however there are also fat cheerleaders.

A team consists of a dog, of any type or size, and usually one handler but sometimes two handlers. Dogs must be over six months of age to compete. Handlers may use a toy, also known as the chase object. The dogs are not required to chase or retrieve the toy. There are dock jumping events in the United States and other countries such as United Kingdom, and Australia. The first time this sport appeared was in 1997 at the incredible dog challenge which was sponsored by the dog food manufacturer Purina.Nowerdays this sport is ran in many different countries and is very famous around people who deal with dogs. Drogba - the hope of Chelsea...

Drogba missed to score a penalty at the very end of the derby Chelsea vs. Tottenham. The hero of Chelsea became a reason for disappointment and after a tense game the result remained equal. Drogba made a terrible mistake after he missed the chance of gaining the 3 points for his team in the 92nd minute. This minute was the most important for the team, becausae it could have gainead them temporarily the first place. Drogba is currently one of the best players of Chelsea and the fact that he missed was a terrible shock for the fans and supporters of the team. Even after the bad game the hope is still alive. Drogba will have to prove himself against Manchester United on the 19th, which is the derby in England. Chelsea still have a great chanace to win the first place, but the next matches will be really dificult.

Johan Cruyff Criticizes Barca's Decision To Get A Sponsor

The most successful coach of Barcelona in the history of the club, Johan Cruyff, openly ciritisized the contract with Qatar Foundation for 33 million Euro per year. One of the distinctive characteristics of Barca in the past was that it proclaimed itself "more than a club", i.e. it is not a private company but an organization of its fans and supporters. Cruyff's criticisms were directed towards the chairman of the club, Sandro Rosell. The Dutch ex-star said, "Does Rosell really think that he is the only genius to come up with the idea of sponsorpship?" Cruyff also said that the financing the club will receive from the sponsor will be no more than 6-7% of the clubs annual budget, so it is practically useless. The great coach ended his interview with the remark that the signing of the sponsorship contract was a big leap backwards for the club and the ones who govern it.

Carlos Tevez wants to leave Man City

Carlos Tevez surpisingly announced yesterday day that he'll like to leave his current club Manchester City during the summer transfer window. He didn't explain the reason for his decision, but it is believed that he wants to return to Argentina to be close to his two daughters. So it is very possible that he will join club from the Argentine Primera Division. Tevez rejected the speculations that he is not in good relations with the Man City coach Roberto Mancini and the owner of the club Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The reaction of the Manchester City's board was total rejection. "He has a contract for 3.5 more years so he's not going to leave the club now. He is staying at the club and is not going to be transferred in another club during the summer transfer window."
So basically Tevez wants to leave, but they're not letting him go to another club. Such a complicated situation. We all are waiting for the resolution!

LA Galaxy to Unite Beckham and Ronaldinho in One Team

The American team L.A. Galaxy announced its intentions to buy the Brazilian legend Ronaldinho. The team hopes to be able to win the title by having two of the greatest footballers ever, Beckham and Ronaldinho, together in one squad. American soccer will certainly benefit from such a transfer, but it is doubtful whether this will help Ronaldinho's career. It is a common practice for great footballers to go to clubs in the U.S. or in the Middle East when their career starts to fade. Hristo Stoichkov, Gilberto Silva, and Guti are just several examples of that trend. If Ronaldinho has the ambition to leave a greater trace in the history of soccer than he has already done, he has to remain in Europe and continue to play world-class football. A possible transfer to America would mean a decisive step to retirement, and he will almost surely lose his chance to compete on top level again. His possible future colleague David Beckham has been one of the few to return to Euope after an "exile" in the U.S. (he played for AC Milan for a season).

Dog sled racing is a winter racing sport most popular in the Arcticregions of the United States, Canada, Russia, and some European countries. It involves the timed competition of teams of sleddogs that pull a sled with the dog driver or musher standing on the runners. The team completing the marked course in the least time is judged the winner.Sled dog races include "sprint" races over relatively short distances of 4 to 25 miles, mid-distance races from 28 to 200 miles, or long-distance races of 200 to over 1000 miles. Sprint races frequently are two or three-day events with heats run on successive days with the same dogs over the same course. Mid-distance races are either heat races of 14 to 80 miles per day, or continuous races' of 100 to 200 miles. (These categories are informal and may overlap to a certain extent.) Long-distance races may be continuous or stage races, in which participants run a different course each day, usually from a central staging location.Sled dog race was a demonstration sport at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. Then it was shown in Olslo in the Olympics several years later but it did not gain official event status. The dogs which are used to pull the sled with the driver are special trained powerful dogs, usually huskies. Dog sled racing is little unknown sport but still it's very exciting and fun to practice. I recommend that everyone should try it just once.

Here are the two holders that Levski will sell.

The management of Levski believes in winning the championship, although it is five points
behind the champions Litex for half of the season. Therefore Todor Batkov and Georgi Ivanov-Gonzo want to keep Levski's star Gara Dembele and Macedonian international Darko Tasevski, but the blues are about to loose two of their best players for the last two- three seasons. It's about Veselin Minev and Zhoazinyo. Both are major players in the composition of Yasen Petrov this season, as they were with Emil Velev, Ratko Dostanic, Gonzo and play on the whole left area of the team. The left defender has been assured from his bosses that an offer from abroad will be sealed without a problem once the player has gotten 30 years old, because it was time for him to leave. The price that Levski wants for Minev, is no more than 300 000.

The situation with the Brazilian varies as he is quite younger and promising than his team-mate. Zhoazinyo turns 22 years on Christmas eve and his bosses want no less than a million dollars for him. Batkov agrees to sell him but does not want an amount less than the pre-mentioned, since more than 30% of the money will go to his first club Portuguesa, which means that the sales of one million, only 700,000 will enter into the pockets of the citizens of Sofia. Already several teams from Russia and Ukraine have shown interest in him.

Zhoazinyo has played in all 27 games from the beginning of the season, while Minev has missed on two meetings. These are the games with Kaliakra, because of an injury and the match againts Lokomotiv Plovdiv brcause of a puishment.

If any separation happens with Minev and Jo, Ivanov should attract new players to these positions, since at this stage, neither of them have a reserve on the team. He wil be able to make a decision since if he sells both of the players there will be more than a million dollars in the
cash desk.

The three football players nominated for the European Footballer of the Year

Today FIFA announced the three nominated football players for the Ballon d'Or (also known as the European Footballer of the Year award) for 2010. Surprisingly, all the three players are from one team - Barcelona FC. They are Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, and Xavi Hernandez. And here's a little information about them and their achievement in 2010.

Andres Iniesta:
Age: 26 years old
Nationality: Spain (54 matches and 7 goals)
Achievements in 2010:
Won FIFA 2010 World Cup

Won the Spanish Super Cup
Ballon d'Or 2009: 4th place

Lionel Messi:
Age: 23 years old
Nationality: Argentina (54 matches and 15 goals)
Achievements in 2010:
Won the Spanish Championship
Won the Spanish Super Cup
Top goalscorer of the Spanish Championship (34 goals)
Top goalscorer of the UEFA Champions League (8 goals)
Ballon d'Or 2009: 1st place

Xavi Hernandez:
Age: 30 years old
Nationality: Spain (99 matches and 8 goals)
Achievements in 2010:
Won FIFA 2010 World Cup
Won the Spanish Championship
Won the Spanish Super Cup
Ballon d'Or 2009: 3th place

Wesley Sneijder Left Out of the Golden Ball Competition

FIFA made an astonishing decision by not including the Dutch superstar Wesley Sneijder in the three nominated footballers who are going to compete for the prestigious award. Many fans of football cannot believe that this has happened because Sneijder was the key player in last season's Inter Milan squad. He was vital for the success in both the Champions League and in the Italian Calcio. Moreover, the winger scored five goals on the World Cup in South Africa. It cannot be said that the three nominated players, Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandes, and Andres Iniesta, do not deserve their place because all of them had a tremendously strong season in their club Barca. Objections were raised that FIFA favors Barcelona over teams like Inter, but the recent match against Real Madrid proved that Barcelona could be called the strongest team in the world. Nonetheless, Sneijder really deserved a place in the Great Three even though the choice has undoubtedly been very hard for FIFA.

Real Desperate to Recover Ronaldo from His Injury

The Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is put on extensive treatement for his sprained ankle. Real Madrid desperately need him for the coming match against Valencia on Saturday. It is maybe the most important match for the club this season because it will determine the way the club would take: either they will keep their dreadful from the 5-0 defeat against Barca, or they will recover from the crisis and emerge stronger than ever. Jose Mourinho realizes that and has ordered all doctors in the team to do all they can to make it possible for Ronaldo to play on Saturday. The Special One was humiliated in the last match, and it is now obvious that he will do everything that is needed to restore his reputation and shut the mouths of his enemies, who are now triumphant because of the 0-5 in El Classico.

Russia Is the Host of World Cup 2018

A few hours ago, Russia was chosen the host of World Cup 2018. The country of vodka and Stalin was preferred to rich and prosperous countries such as Holland, Belgium, England, Spain, and Portugal in the fight for the prestigious award. Maxim Elin, a Russian soccer fan, said that this was a great success not only for Russian football but also for the Russian people. Russia will now have the chance to prove that it has turned into a truly modern country, which should not only be associated with alcoholism and Communism. In the last several months, the bidding process turned into a state affair as the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin personally ordered the minister of sports to make sure that Russia wins over other candidates. The football star Andrey Arshavin also commented on the choice, saying that the world cup will "change the views" about Russia and that the whole country has the ambition to make the first time they'll be hosting this event a really unique one.

Kubrat Pulev-Cobra vs Paolo Vidots

Bulgarian boxer heavyweight Kubrat Pulev-Cobra will fight in his last match for 2010 against Italian Paolo Vidots. The match is scheduled for December 18 in Germany. Up to now Pulev knows the taste of loss as of 9 matches professional ring has 9 wins (5 by knockout).

Vidots was born on August 21, 1970 In his rich career he has 26 wins, including 15 by knockout, and 8 losses. The Italian has successes in the amateur ring - bronze from 2000 Sydney Olympics, the world bronze in 1997 and 1999. European champion of Euro 2000 in Tampere. His first game on the professional stage is 27 January 2001, when Madison Square Garden knocked out after only two minutes in the ring Chris Morris.

For Cobra did the most serious fighting until it was in late October against American Dominic Guinn. In Rostock Bulgarians beat him convincingly on points.

According to preliminary information, 18 December Pulev had to fight against the Ukrainian Oleg Platov. Fighting heavyweight would have been 10 rounds in Berlin. Clash between the two, however, was postponed four times, not at the request of Ukrainian - or because of injury or because of organizational disorder.

The Bulgarian boxers’ chance for win is not big because of the enormous experience Paolo Vidots has but he is faster and younger. Cobrata has a chance to win the last rounds and be in defensive position in the first because his opponent would be tired but not to try fight in the beginning when there is big chance to loose.

Yoga For Anti Stress

Yoga exercises are better than other types of physical exercise to reduce everyday stress and improve one’s mood, according to a U.S.A. study cited by the UPI agency.
Scientists compared the yoga exercises with routine walking and found out that people who practice yoga are in a better mood and much less stressed.
The study involved nineteen very dedicated people who devoted part of their time in the program related to this experiment and another fifteen participants who joined the experiment related to regular walking, quoted the “Los Angeles Times”.
In the time period of twelve weeks the participants in both groups set aside an hour for 3 times a week for their program, afterwards they passed several tests to examine their mood, stress, anxiety, etc. Quoted from actualno.com.
Moreover, researchers have used NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) to examine the levels of a chemical which is a neurotransmitter that calms the brain, reduces anxiety and causes a state of mind in which the body rests.
The participants, who did the yoga exercises, demonstrated better mood and lower stress levels than the ones who joined the program, related with routine walking. Yoga exercises also lead to higher levels of gamma acids, which are associated with ones mood, thus shaving higher levels of that certain acid you would feel better.

Nadal added that he had sent an SMS
encouraging Cristiano Ronaldo and the other footballers, and several of the Barcelona footballers, congratulating them with victory.

Beşiktaş starts negotiations with Levski Sofia to buy forward Garra Dembele

Beşiktaş will play against CSKA Sofia today, but the Black Eagles came to Sofia not only because of the Europa League match. They're currently looking to strenghten up their attack and are observing Levski Sofia's forward Garra Dembele, who scored the impressive number of 26 goals in the Bulgarian League and Europa League from the beginning of the season. The only bad thing that can stop the transfer of the French forward is that he is too expensive for Beşiktaş: 3 million euro or even more.
If Beşiktaş fail to buy Dembele, they will probably made an offer for Hugo Almeida, who currently plays for Werder Bremen.
