Yoga For Anti Stress

Yoga exercises are better than other types of physical exercise to reduce everyday stress and improve one’s mood, according to a U.S.A. study cited by the UPI agency.
Scientists compared the yoga exercises with routine walking and found out that people who practice yoga are in a better mood and much less stressed.
The study involved nineteen very dedicated people who devoted part of their time in the program related to this experiment and another fifteen participants who joined the experiment related to regular walking, quoted the “Los Angeles Times”.
In the time period of twelve weeks the participants in both groups set aside an hour for 3 times a week for their program, afterwards they passed several tests to examine their mood, stress, anxiety, etc. Quoted from actualno.com.
Moreover, researchers have used NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) to examine the levels of a chemical which is a neurotransmitter that calms the brain, reduces anxiety and causes a state of mind in which the body rests.
The participants, who did the yoga exercises, demonstrated better mood and lower stress levels than the ones who joined the program, related with routine walking. Yoga exercises also lead to higher levels of gamma acids, which are associated with ones mood, thus shaving higher levels of that certain acid you would feel better.
