The 17-year old Leonardo Bittencourt signed a contract to play for Borussia during the next soccer season. The midfielder used to play for FC Energie Cottbus, which plays in the 2. Bundesliga.
Bittencourt was also a prime target of one of the major opponents of Borussia - Bayern Munich. The midfielder will cost to Borussia about 2,8 million euro and his contract expires in 2016. „Es ist ein junger, talentierter Spieler", said Michael Zorc about Bittencourt.
