Manchester City did their job but dropped out the Champions Leage
Manchester City finished their job and won with 2: 0 over Bayern Munich in their last match of the Champions League, but the three points they gained are not enough for the English to qualify for the elimination phase of the tournament. David Silva and Touré Yaya scored for the team from Manchester against the reserve team of Bayern, but that success was not enough for their team to continue, as Napoli won the derby with Villarreal in Spain and it threw out Man City.
The guests from Germany an experimental composition on "Etihad Stadium", since their first place in the group was ensured. In the 15th minute of the match, the boys of Roberto Mancini opened the score, but the goal was canceled because of a foul on Lescott against Hans-Jörg Butt.
