Aleksandr Kerzhakov confirmed the rumours that Liverpool wants him to join their team. The 27 years old forward said: "Yes, Liverpool made a concrete offer and had a conversation with my personal agent, but I haven't answered to the request yet. I feel perfect here in Zenit and I like the teams' playing style: modern and attacking. Also, my team is at the top of the table. I can agree to play only in a few other teams. And one of those teams is Liverpool. So it's possible for me to accept the offer."Kerzhakov was also asked to point the best player in the Russian Premier League: "I'm not the best player in the league.
