Tennis is a very popular sport that many people play and follow, however it does not get as much recognition on a mass scale. Soccer can be considered one of the most popular sports worldwide, it has many followers, fans and even fanatics, but not all of them are "true" followers. Some just join the group and or become a fan of a certain soccer team just because it is popular. In my opinion the only certain fans of a sport, can be seen if the sport is not so popular. Sure every person can follow a team if all their friends follow a team such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and etc. , however it takes a true sports fan to follow sports that are not popular on a wide scale such as hockey, american football or even cricket. In those kinds of sports can one show his true colors and shine as a real "sport fan".
