The sale of tickets for the World Snooker Championship this year has reached a new record. The contest that will be held between the 16th of April and the 2nd of May in "Crucible" is one of the biggest sport events in the UK this spring and is definately the most important snooker event this year. The contestants will fight for the prestigeous award as well as for a 250 000 pounds.Among the participants will be Neil Robertson, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, John Higgins, Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy.
The people who organize the tournament said that all the tickets for the last 4 days as well as for several other sessions have been sold. This means that the sales have increased this year with more than 15%.
