Chelsea continue to the quarterfinals with 0-0 draw at home

Chelsea got only a tie at Stamford Bridge, 0-0, but that was enough for the blues to continue to the quarterfinals in the Champions League. Even though Chelsea played with 3 strikers – Fernando Torres, Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba, they couldn’t score even though they dominated the guest team. In the 8th minute Anleka had a chance to score against the Danish but was unsuccessful. Chelsea had some opportunities in the 18th, 21st and 31st minute, but they weren’t able to score. The match ended with a tie, but Chelsea were the better team. In the 51st minute Mickel could have scored with head, and in the 55th Ramires was close to the goal, but all the chances were wasted. The match was processing and Chelsea were nearer the goal. In the 75th minute Drogba had a great chance, but wasted it. The match ended and Chelsea continued with an aggregate 2-0 for Chelsea. Even though Chelsea couldn’t win, they enjoyed a good game and deserved to go in the quarterfinals.
