Nadals defeat in VTR

Nadal's matches in the VTR Open tournament definately ended amazingly. Horacio Zeballos won against Rafael Nadal in a  really close game where they finished 6-7 (2), 7-6 (6), 6-4 for Zeballos. Their prowess was almost ideally matched and they were neck and neck for the entire time. Eventually however, Zeballos finaly won and just dropped on the red clay from exhaustion and stood there. In an after-match inteview, Zeballos commentated on the match and how it was practicallty the one of his best games and he stated that he will never forget the match in which he managed to fight against one of the best players in the world. Nadal did not express any negative emotions toward the conclusion of the match and even said that he was both gratefull for being able to experience the feeling of challange in the face of his opponents and the fans themselves managed to move him emotinally due to their huge support from the sidelines. In the end Nadal left in preparation for his doubles match with Juan Monaco and Zeballos continued experiencing the trill of the game long after it finished.

Nadal wins the Davis Cup match for Spain

Another win for Nadal in the latest Davis Cup tournament. His victory over Juan Martin del Potro, the argentinian contester in the tournament. With this victory, Nadal received first place in the tournament, and also Spain received yet another prized title in tennis tournaments. The match in its entirity was very difficult to guess how it will end, but at the same time it was also fascinatiing to watch such proffesionals fight for their countries and for themselves as well. Both players fought well in the match and of course Juan Martin del Potro was quite dissapointed from the outcome, but in the end both players left the match with good feelings for their accomplishments and also with a great deal of exhaustion.

Nadal wins his fight over Fish on Monday

Rafael Nadal won in Group B his match against Mardy Fish with a surprising result of 6-2, 3-6 and lastly 7-6(3). This match was a show of skill from Nadal through his comeback after the seccond second set where he made some really bad mistakes which allowed Fish to take the initiative and win the set giving him a boost of confidence for the third set. However even with this boost Nadal still managed to beat him even though it was very close to a loss on his behalf. Now with Fish out of the way and Roger Federer's win against Tsonga, the two powerful tennis players are put against eachother in the next match of the group. The result of this clash will be a quite interesting match for everyone watching and even now the tickets for the matches on Tuesday have almost been sold out leaving the whole arena full with people waithing for the amazing gameplay that will occur on that day.
