Bayern Munich - Freiburg

Bayern Munich will be the host tommorow during the game against Freiburg. During the last games Freiburg had a long row of games won, but in their history the matches won against Bayern are really few. Right now Meinz is leading the German Bundesliga with 8 out of 9 games won. Freiburg had a lot of very good matches and they diserved more than the seventh place, but still Bayern Munich aren't easy to be beaten. In the matches between Bayern and Freiburg we've witnessed a strong domination of Bayern, but after this failure of the team the chances might be equal. I personally believe that Bayern will prove their domination, but tomorrow we'll see.

Base Jumping

It is a sport that is relevantley new. It is called base jumping. Basicaly it is like sky diving but you jump not from an airplane but you jump of a very high cliff or building.
It is a vey riskfull and high adrenalin sport. Afcorse you cant just go off a cliff and jump with a parachute. You need years of practice with gymnastics, airplane jumps and also very good coordination. For now there only a few known death caces. If you are a hardcore base jumper you can wear a wingsuit. It is basically a suit but there is cloth between your arms and legs and you sort of glaze on air

Eukonkanto (Wife Carrying)

The wife carrying is an unique sport. A gentle man have to heave his wife on his back going through lots of disgusting obsticles. Usualy the track is 250 meters long with some jumps and a water trap. The rules say that the "wife" doesn't have to be your own but can be a friend, your sister , mother and pretty much every girl you want to carry. The sport has originated f about sixteen years ago from Finland. Some people see it as a sexual game and some people play it just for fun.

Freestyle skiing

Freestyle skiing is not very popular sport but it's very interesting and a lot of people in the world practise it only in the winter. The most fun part in the freestyle skiing is that it's extremely dangerous. The flow of adrenaline rushes threw your veins and the feeling is amazing. The skies that are used for this sport are special. You can't do tricks with normal skies. Also you have to wear protecting gear so that you can be calm that you won't get hurt. Some of the riders ski in very dangerous places where the rides can die. The trics that the skier perform are very beautiful and very hard to learn. They say that it takes 20 years so that a rider can learn to do nice trics and ride in powder.

Motocross

The Motocross is a unique sport which is very dangerous, but also extremely exciting. This sport is world-wide popular. There are several types of motocross. There is a class of 50cc- junior, 150cc, 250cc, and 450cc. Usually the motorcycles are two stroke. The most famous brands for motorcycles are ''Yamaha'', ''Kawasaki'', '' Beta'', '' Honda'', ''Husqvarna'' and ''Suzuki''. People go motocrossing in the woods for fun, but also they go racing. Motocrossing is a unique sport which makes the adrenalin rush trough your veins. I reccommand to everybody to try it, because it is the best sport.

American Football vs. Rugby

American football is one very dangerous and agressive sport mostly played in America. In Europe there is one sport called Rugby which looks like American football and a lot of people thought of the 2 sports as one and the same. There is a huge difference between the 2 of them. The rules the ball and the protection are the most obvious ones. People say that American football is the "gay" sport because the players play with protection, but here come the explanation of the rules. Rugby was once considered to be brutal and rugged game, the purpose of which was to develop character and team play in the young Fauntleroy's of the privileged classes. Because of the brutality in that sport the rules were changed and now the American football is more dangerous. The only restrictions are not to touch or grab the faceprotector and never atack in the back of the person during the ball is flying. You chose!

Get ready for Man United

Man United's Alex Ferguson is already 68 and is looking for his successor. He pointed Pep Guardiola as the best coach in the world and expressed his opinion that Josep will be a great choice for the "Red Devils". Ferguson wants United's style to look just as Pep's Barcelona: many passes, great ball possesion and, of course, spectacular finishing moves and goals. Alex has another opportunity: Jose Mourinho, but The "Special One" is not Ferguson's favorite, because of the typical for the Portuguese scandals and arrogance that accompany him.

Pep Guardiola is not pleased with managing Barca and is also looking for another club and his preference is the Barclays Premier League, so being Man United's new manager seems very possible...

Petanque

Petanque is a game which you could play on every place and is for everyone. A player needs three metal balls with diameter from 6,5 to 8 centimeters and weight from 650 gr. to 800 gr. First is drown a circle with diameter 30 centimeters. Players stay in the circle when they are shooting. When the game starts the player trows one wooden ball called boule and then is next player turn.

The goal is to trow your ball most closely to the boule and hit the balls of the opposite team far away from the target. Also you need a meter with which to calculate which the closest ball to the target is. The winner is the person or the team who first gains 13 points which means to trow the biggest amount of balls to the boule.

Petanque is included in the summer olympic games. It is very popular in France. It can help you maintain good physical form. It is interesting that you can play it during you eat and drink beer as most people do and it is easy to find a terrain in every garden or in sport complexes.

Results from Carling Cup

Some very dramatic results were seen during the last Carling Cup round. The fourth stage of the tournament offered the fans some graet games with lots of goals and outstanding results. Here are the results:

Aston Villa 2- 1 Burnley F.C.

All the goals were scored after the 90th minute. First the forward of Aston Villa Heskey gave the lead to his team but at the end of the match(89th minute) Carlistle scored for 1 - 1. Extra time was needed and there in the 96th minute Downing scored for 2 - 1 but at the end Albrighton made a hard tackle and was booked with red card.

Newcaslte United 0 - 4 Arsenal

This match was won by Arsenal with a victorius result of 4-0 but the fans would agree that all the goals were actually misunderstandings of the Newcastle defence. The first goal was an owngoal by Krul at the very end of the first half. The next 3 goals were scored in the 53rd, 83rd and 88th minute by Walcott, Bendthner and again Walcott.

Manchester United 3 - 2 Wolverhampton

This one was one of the most dramatic matches for Man Utd in this season so far. All the goals were scored in the second half. The first one was scored by the Man Utd player Bebe in the 56th minute than John Elokobi from Wolverhampton scored for 1-1. Manchester United gained the lead again but eventually lost it with goals of Park(70th minute) for the hosts and Foley(76th minute) for the guests. At the very end of the match Manchester United player Chicharito(Hernandes) scored and gave the win to the red devils.
