Petra Kvitova's amazing sucess in the WTA tournament

An unsurprising result, Kvitova managed to completely decimate Victoria Azarenka in the final match of the WTA Istanbul tournament. With an astonishing win of 75, 46 and 63 Kvitova managed to secure her place as the 2nd best in the world, almost catching up with Caroline Wozniacki. Despite the way Kvitova managed to gain a lead of 5-0 in the first game, Azarenka did not give up and continued fighting, creating an amazing spectacle for all the viewers. Even after the defeat, Victoria kept a happy attitude and showed delight that she was defeated by a champion such as her, despite not being the best in the rankings. In the beginning of the season Kvitova was just closely in the Top 30. Her commitment to the game shows how a person can succeed if they struggle to the last breath to achieve what they want. In Kvitova's case it was to improve her game, and look where it brought her now, only one place away from being the world's best.

David Silva injured

One of the best players of the leader in Premier League Manchester City David Silva was substituted yesterday because of injury. Manchester won 3-0 against Villareal in a decisive game in Champions League. Silva felt pain in his back in the second half and Roberto Mancini immediately replaced him with Adam Johnson. However, Mancini is not worried about the physical condition of one of his most valuable players this season. He is sure that Silva will be fit enough to play in the next match of City against Queens Park Rangers in Premier League. "David was hit in the back and I decided to substitute him in order to prevent his from complications. I don't think it's a serious injury. There are 60 more hours till our next match so I think he'll be in a good shape for that fixture." shared Roberto Mancini with the media after the Champions League derby.

The Blue Thunder

The history of the blues is not so glorius, but now Man. City are the new leading team in England and Europe. After City won the FA Cup in May they were an attractive destination for the players who wanted money, trophies and glory. Of course there were many critics for the team. The specialists never seem to consider City as a contender for the Premier League. But now everything is changed. City crashed United at Old Trafford 6-1 and are ready to conquer. The team of Roberto Mancini has scored 36 goals in their 10 matches in the league and have lost only two times in every tournament they participated since the start of the season. Many people say: City are full of individulas and there is no team, but this shows that they have not seen the Manchester team. City plays with a lot of passion and passes - nearly everyone touch the ball before someone scores. The european performance of City is not so good for now, but the team is improving and the 0-3 win at El madrigal is showing this. The debth of team will later help City in his way to glory. So finally you can underestimate City, but you will understand that you are wrong and the Citizens will achieve glory.

Juventus's rebirth

Fan and soccer upporters are glad to see that the team from Torino is back on the European stage. It is

unbelivebale how this team was disqualified in 2006 to play in Seria B but soon afterwards "The Old Lady" managed to win the league and return to play with the strongest italian teams. But most of the good players had joined other clubs and it was impossible to recover instantly with good results. That is how the team struggled for 3 years and it it wash a shame for the club to see that it was ranked 7th in the last 2 years.
But this year it is brand new story - 5 wins 4 draws 0 loses and 1st place so far in the Italian Calcio. It is also unbelievable how well the team plays under the tough hand of Antonio Conte who made miracles to bring the club it its deserved position. If we look deeper in the club's affairs we will notice that there are players at a very young or very old age that seem to cooperate as if they have been playing for years. Players like Claudio Marchisio, Alexandro Matri and Stefan Lihstajner seem to fit pefrectly in the club tactic with the hel of Georgio Chielini, Alex Del Piero and Djanluigi Buffon. Furthermore the rival games against Milan and Inter were both won with great games and stining results(2-1 against Inter and 2-0 against Milan).

That is how the team began to prosper this year and surely will make a great year if it continues in the same way.

Arsenal vs. Chelsea

Arsenal travel across the capital to Stamford Bridge in Saturday's early kick-off and Djourou feels victory would put them back on track after a less than convincing start to the new season.Whilst the Gunners were securing a 3-1 win over Stoke City on Sunday, Chelsea limped to a 1-0 defeat at West London rivals Queens Park Rangers. Several players of arsenal among who is Johan Djourou says The most important thing is playing our game. If we can stick to that and play the way Arsenal play we are going to be dangerous.I think it would prove that the team is getting back on track, he said.We shouldn't put too much pressure on ourselves because we have a game on Tuesday first which is very important as well.It is a massive game like any other but they are a top-four team and we want to get a result."
