Not long ago some of us posted an artticle about the most dangerous sport - cheerleading. However surprising this was, according to some statistics the most safe sport is paintball! Of course there is no clear and absolutly unbias data about any of this, but according to many, after comparison between more than 30 sports, paintball was the safest one. The reason - most (acctually all in official tournaments) play in full gear protected from any of the balls. What is more the terrain is never risky. Official games are often played on one floor (or not even in a building) and even if the "map" is bigger, the dangers are always removed before the actual game. Due to this there is probably not a single death caused by the sport itself. According to the National Injury Information Clearinghouse of the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission paintball is the sportest with only 0.24 injuries per 1000 contestants. Even bowling is after paintball with 0.5 The most dangerous sport according to the same organisation is skiing with 261.84 per 1000, again. Surprise or not, the statistics of an organisation like the National Injury Information Clearinghouse of the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission usually don't lie.
